Who we are
We’re a part of American Christian Fiction Writers
ACFW Indiana Chapter seeks to encourage writers of Christian fiction, to assist in the development of their skills, to educate them in the market, and provide a source of fellowship.
We are Indiana
Our chapter includes the entire state of Indiana and the writers who live in, work in, or just love the state. We meet as a group several times a year, utilizing both in-person and online events to exchange industry information, share experiences, and to grow in the craft of writing.
We are authors
Pre-published or multi-published, award-winning or just starting out, we try to reach every writer where they are. Covering all genres of fiction, we offer the friendship and support of people who understand the challenges of a writer’s life.
We are Christians
We want to honor God in our writing and in the work we do in the publishing industry. Our meetings include both writing discussion and Christian fellowship.

- January 13th – 7:00 pm – Kickoff 2025! – Hoosier Hangout
- February – 40,000 word challenge
- March 4th – 7:00 pm – Hoosier Hangout – Celebrate our 40,000 in February successes, address editing questions, and discuss next steps for your writing
- April 5th – 9:30-11:00am – Zoom meeting with Hallee Bridgeman – “Seven Steps to Successful Self Publishing”
- May 14th – 7:00 pm – Hoosier Hangout – Author Panel
- June 7th or 14th – 10:00am-2:00pm – In person meeting in Kokomo – more details to follow
- July 10th – 7:00 pm – Hoosier Hangout
- August 9th – 9:30-11:00 am – Zoom meeting with Lisa Phillips – “Cultivating a Lifelong Career”

* Full member dues are $15.00 per year ($7.50 from July-Dec) for Indiana residents
OR residents of any state if not a member of another state’s ACFW Chapter.
* Associate member dues are $5.00 if you are a member of another state’s chapter.
